Louis Vuitton's fall show left avant garde headwear junkies and skeptics alike with mouths agape at the, er, whimsical use of what seem to be slightly corkscrewed bunny ears perched atop the heads of it's models. Much like the Prada "urban turban' of Spring '07 there's been a good amount of buzz about the wearability of this signature accessory. While many runway shows are knowingly theatrical (Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier) these seem to be suggested for everyday accessorizing...shoes, belt, ears.
Marie Claire tested the street sensibility of the turban back in the day (http://bit.ly/qUMNc), perhaps a new experiment is in order to see how giant black ears fly (flop? ugh.) in the real world. Anyone at MC have the cajones? This ones most definitely going in the suggestion box.
